We are pleased to announce the launch of two new scholarships for our upcoming July cohort, aimed at breaking down the financial barriers that prevent prospective students from joining our course. After a thorough survey revealed that cost was the primary obstacle for many, we have tailored our scholarships to address these challenges. 

The first scholarship will benefit job changers already living in Japan, helping them manage the financial strains caused by the current economy without compromising their educational aspirations. 

The second scholarship focuses on increasing the participation of women and non-binary individuals in tech, aligning with our mission to foster inclusivity within the industry.

The scholarships will be granted based on technical and academic aspirations, as well as financial need.

Who is eligible?

Anyone who…

🗾 Is a citizen or permanent resident of Japan, or is already living in Japan on a work visa, student visa, or dependent visa. (Please ask us if you’re unsure if you apply.)

-OR-

👩‍💻Identifies as a woman or non-binary

Applicants who meet the criteria for both scholarships are welcome to make separate applications for each. Please note, however, that an individual will not be awarded more than one scholarship.

What does the scholarship cover?

💴 50% of tuition to the Code Chrysalis Immersive

This scholarship can only be applied to the Immersive course, and cannot be combined with other discounts.

How do I apply?

✍️ If you're interested in our scholarship, mention this to our admissions team when you're at the technical interview stage. You'll then need to fill out a short application. 

For those who are already accepted into the program and are interested, please get in touch with our admissions department as soon as possible. 

We plan to select the scholarship recipients on May 10, 2024.
