TRI-AD is providing one full scholarship for the Code Chrysalis Immersive in April 2019.
TRI-AD is Toyota's newly established software development company aimed at defining the future of automated driving. Called Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development, or TRI-AD, it is created in conjunction with automotive supplier Aisin Seiki and Denso.
Together, they plan to invest $2.8 billion into TRI-AD in the coming years and hire around 1,000 employees in order to develop software systems that can power fully self-driving vehicles.
Part of this goal means increasing the number of women going into engineering and diversifying the engineering industry.
Anyone who identifies as a woman and is accepted to the Code Chrysalis Immersive.
Applicants must submit an application and be accepted to the Immersive program by February 4th, 2019.
